What a Day!

Justice is leaning all about the dayhome and how it works! Tyson is being so kind and gentle with her.

At morning snack, Justice went to town on her fruit, Tyson, like always takes his time. She was done her fruit before he even finished one piece. But she was happy waiting and talking to him and they chatted away about lots of things.

One of the kids highlights is seeing birds in the feeder, today they were thrilled to see a blue jay. We can get pretty close.

Justice eating really well and loving all kinds of fruit!

Tyson has a bite out of everything, today he loved his honeydew melon! He lines things up so neatly!

Tyson has the dogs trained to wait for him to throw the toys, the kids love walks.

Tyson saying "Sit"!

Justice was having nothing to do with the grass, she was super happy to observe her world from the comforts of her wagon!
Although later she was thrilled to help with the yard, she was all over the grass and playing with rocks!

Tyson loves pushing the wagon!

After our walk, returning home!

Mason , Roxy and Adam came to visit and meet Justice, she learned to say Adam after 3 mins, she is a brilliant little doll.

Tomorrow should be fun, Lilly, Justice and Tyson! And then there were 3!

Spring Rain in the Ravine

Charlie was not sure about having to be attached to the wagon but Lilee and Tyson thought it was great.

Just walking with the dog!

It is raining and the kids loved it!

Tyson and his little dance

We are quite the team!

Tyson loves pushing the wagon, always a helper!

Tyson's spring walk in the Ravine

Tyson loves outside!
We went for a walk last week and he was super happy!

Lilee's first day

She is the sweetest little girl ever! Her name is Lilee and today was her first day. She is full of the best dimpled smile and such a happy girl.
She loves outside and walks super fast. She loved reading and singing songs.
She is full of giggles!
Welcome Lilee!

Spring Painting

One day Tyson colored the tree trunk and another he finger painted. Little tree buds appeared.
He did NOT like getting his finger in the paint, he liked dabbing his finger on the paper but was not sure of the paint on his finger.
But the results are amazing, he is a fine little artist!

Tyson drumming/dancing

Tyson loved drumming, he danced and played and did squats. He was scooting backwards in his bum and laughing and playing all at the same time! He was so much fun!

Swimming

Little T went swimming yesterday, he LOVES water.
When we got to the pool, he hung on like a koala bear, he liked the after but was unsure of how buoyant he was. After a few minutes, he started splashing with one had. Then a little later, 2 hands. Then with encouragement, I turned him around and held his back to me and he started kicking and splashing, after about 25 mins, he was much more comfortable and was able to move around and play, although he always held on to at least one finger. He is going to have an amazing time in Hawaii next month.

Wouldn't it be grand for the whole dayhome to go to Maui for a field-trip?

What a week!

We did so much this week it was crazy fun!
We went to Hole's to shop for plants and a few groceries, Little T was busy making friends with every single person he met, he was always full of smiles and conversations.

Little T loves climbing and we took advantage of the play structures inside Holes before heading home.
He loved climbing up, but not so sure about down, it was fast!

Teeter totter with Amanda, he laughed so hard, I wish I was able to get it on video.

Lots of things this week, we went to the park, walked the dogs, made some shaving creme art in which Little T did NOT like the mess on his hands.

We went to watch rugby and played with some friends.

Little T really liked Jakob this week too, the boys ate breakfast together before Jake went to school and  Jake had an eye appointment, Little T was thrilled to spend part of the day with him.

Busy, fun week!

Little T's First Day!

Little T's First Day!

Little T started care on Wednesday and he is seriously AMAZING! He is so much fun! Always laughing and checking out new things! He is brilliant! At 17 months he knows everything and he communicates in a brilliant way. I love how he points he little finger. He says this one sentence over and over and it sounds like he is saying, " No, really", like he is trying to explain something so simple and you are not getting it!

He makes me smile all the time, he loves everyone in our family. He loves the dogs and Charlie is especially fond of him, they play fetch for long long periods of time. They defiantly entertain each other!

I must say both his parents, E and K, are phenomenal parents, they are so in love with their little guy and he is thriving from their love! I love it! It really makes my job the best job ever, hanging out with amazing little people full of love and laughter!

I am so happy with the little people I have in our dayhome!

Childhood is magical!
