Outside Play

I realize it looks like it is warm out but it was snowing lightly. They loved the snow, as little as it was!

Vada was trying to give Tyson a kiss! and tyson leaned over but it looked so sweet!

Building

Vada worked hard on her creation. She was so proud of herself.

Must Earn their Keep

I was raking up the leaves and the kids wanted to help.

Best way to teach is by example.

Tyson was waiting for his turn.

I am so proud of all the children. They help so much. They all take their dishes to the counter, they may spill a little on the way but they are so proud to help. Tyson likes drying dishes and Vada likes loading the dishwasher. Findlay likes dusting and wiping tables down. All the kids clean up their spots when they are done eating and crafts.
Findaly will read stories. Tyson loves closing the dishwasher and loves vacumming(with the vacuum off) and washing clothes (pushing buttons on the machines).
They are so helpful!

Halloween Crafts

Our display for the week

I love how their witches turned out!

Lots of fun and creativity

Findlay and Memory

I am going to point out that this child is brilliant!

This is the look she kept giving me through out our game!

She proudly won every game and I was trying really hard!

I did beat her the next time we played and I danced around and sang and clapped for myself, she laughed at me! She told me she let me win!

I know she didn't, I was practicing all night!

Shaving Cream Art

It started out FUN

They were loving the texture

Until Vada wanted to rub it off and rub her face.

This is her trying not to cry, poor peanut.
We washed it off but she didn't understand why she could not rub her eyes.
She tends to put her hands in her hair every time we paint!

More Halloween Fun

Always creating!

This is the beginning of their bat mobiles.

I LOVE their little ghost feet.

They all love getting their feet painted and making something out of them. I like that it helps with their sensory and motor skills. We need to be really co-ordinated to get the paint onto the picture without smearing it and balance on one foot.

These ghost were adorable!

Off to Gym!

The new weather is not as warm but it doesn't stop us from playing and running!
We stopped upstairs to say hi to Amanda and lots of people working out had to come say hi as well. One gentleman had a full conversation with Tyson, he happily visited.

Tyson has grown so brave. A few months ago, he needed my hand to walk across this structure, now he is running across and jumping. If he falls, he gets back up, says "sorry" and carries on.

Deciding which way to go

Vada doing it her own way.

She was so proud of herself and when she crossed Tyson clapped his hands for her.

It is fun to see how they are learning to deal with other kids. There was a boy who would not let them play on anything, he told them no and pushed them. I watched closely and made sure they were never in harms way. Vada was not impressed but stared at the boy. Tyson told him no but was not sure what to do. When the boy put his hands on Vada, Tyson said "NICE". I spoke to the child and asked him to please leave the children alone.
Sadly the mother did nothing.
Then Tyson, with me standing there, marched right up to the pirate ship and walked in, the boy said, "No babies". Tyson said, "My turn" and held the door open for Vada.

They are so smart!

Chilly Day Walk

The kids love to be outside no matter what the weather is like and this was the first day of snow, even though it melted as soon as it landed.
It was exciting to them and interesting trying to explain that snow is not rain totally. Well I guess it really is from the same particles......

Cookie Monster and a little Chicken

Idgie needed a rest

Even Vada walked lots on our walk

Little ones having a ride

Charlie saying Hello

It was a brisk day but the kids had so much fun and did not want to stop walking or riding in the wagon. Findlay decided where we were going and directed the way.
We went over the bridge and saw Ducks and shore birds and lots of neat things. She was so happy deciding where we were going to venture off to.

I love how she takes the lea when given the chance. She is brave and careful. Always skipping along but checking in as well.

Halloween Crafts

Findlay is proud of her Frankenstein!

Tyson trying to hold up his Frankenstein

Vada making a Frankenstein face

Painting our pumpkins

And adding a few decorations and all done!

Sometimes Lunch is Delicious

Fall is Fun

We headed outside and played in the leaves.

vada played a little bit but Tyson and Findlay went cray, they built castles and leaf pie, they threw leaves at each other and me, I buried them in leaves.

They had so much fun!

Thanksgiving

We were learning about Pilgrims and Indians and that they became friends and that is why we have Thanksgiving

Everyone loved making their head dresses and wearing them the rest of the day, everywhere we went so did my little indians!
