Exploring with Beads

We have these really bright colored beads and the kids love them. They are so small so I only allow them to use them if I am sitting with them. 

They were a huge hit and everyone loved it

Bugs and Walks

We are learning about bugs! And how they help our gardens! And that bugs are our friends.

Zach chanced his bugs all over the place, it was so cute as he chased little ants and lady bugs. He even went after a cute fat bee.....we said the flying bugs need to be left alone!!

Library Learning and Exploring

 The library is always a fun place.....

Tyson and vada always go straight to the computers, Vada is not sure what she is doing but she likes the computers. Tyson always listens to the story, sort of, and pushes a lot of keys. Isla she is just being Isla.

Zach loves to pick books and Vada 'reads' them to him, then Vada puts them away!

Everyone loves the play area, puzzles, phone stories, the tree, books and imagination run wild in this area. This is where we go hang out before we pick our books before home time.

Mother's Day and Gardening

Fingerprint cards

This was a process...

We did the cards one day to see how Isla would react to the paint on her hands, she loved it, tried to eat it and liked the texture.

Then we had to paint the pots and let them dry, then paint feet in 2 colors, both feet and put them on out pots. Wash those feet and let dry.

Another day we put the dirt in, all the children did it themselves! 

Then add their wave petunias. Added more dirt. Watered.

They were so happy with their Mother's Day gift!

I think I will get a big pot and make myself one with all their butterflies, I love it so much!
