Waldorf School Class

Winter is long and Tyson and Vada are such sponges.

I looked for something we could do to keep thier little hands and minds busy and we found a great class.

We went to check out the school and they are so excited. So am I. I took my own children when they were little. I love that they will be able to learn and create with

 HANDPRINT ALPHABET BOOK
This was a project and a half, it turned out so so so adorable. I wish I would have made one for me to keep.

We worked on this for almost 2 months but the result was worth it!

They turned out beautiful and the kids were so proud of their ABC's!

I love seeing them grow, Tyson is learning to use scissors and he is really developing his fine motor skills. He is careful and enjoys learning.
Vada oves making a mess and having fun. Her favorite thing to do is have materials and to go to town creating.

Loving Winter

We are always on an adventure of some sort.
I love that Tyson and Vada will suggest where we go for walks.

Our list at present is;

The forrest (Vada's favorite)
The ravine
The river
The long trail
The park
The block
The back park
The running track

They are amazing little walkers, they love walking, when we have the wagon, they often want to walk.

Learning in so Many Ways!

The kids are learning and sometimes they surprise me.

Tyson is always counting everything so I started using pictures with numbers in them and words. We have been identifying numbers. A LOT.

We made our alphabet and number puzzle on day and Tyson started counting, so I brought out our Famous Painting Cards and we started focusing on the number 1. Vada was so excited and went to the number 1 and started dancing and tried to say 1, over and over again, she was so proud to show her learning!

Then we went over the whole alphabet, remember it is not just letters but the sounds they make.

Another time, Vada brought her beads, pom poms and little pieces of things and a few cups, the kids sorted and divided and played for over an hour!
Math skills~ didn't even realize it!

Great minds!~

Indoor Playground

Everyday is a fun day!

Today we went to the indoor playground and had a ton of fun Last time we were there, Tyson was just beginning to try to walk across high things, this time he was going al by himself and fast with great balance and confidence!

Little Vada was determined to also do things on her own, until she got a bit to high and she needed a little assistance!

Big steps for little feet!

After all that climbing and focusing, it was time for a victory slide!

Vada braving it on her own!
