Climbing, Running and Growing
Mary is so funny, she is very cautious but also very excited to try new things.
Here she is beginning her new things, she soon tried to climb a wall with a rope and got 3/4 of the way up and panicked. She started to fall down, more like slide down, and she was very upset. I asked her to try again, and she took 2 little steps and was happy. Then she tried the tires that moved a lot. She wanted off, I went across after and encouraged her to join me the 2nd time, she did it, she was so proud and she stayed on those tires for a long time.
She was very, very proud of herself and so was I!
Tyson on the moving bridge. He has grown so much and is so brave.
He climbs onto everything and is so happy all the time.
Little Vada loves to watch and climb small things. She is still very little so things take a while for her to get up on things. She tries but she is also very happy to walk around. She and I went on lots of things together and things that were to big for her, I carried her, she was super happy to be able to go on the tires and high things and tight rope
Avery is so focused when she finds something that interests her. On this day she was making some kind of something and was very, very interested. She was taking sand and putting it on certain places, then having a conversation with the digger about what she was doing. She laughed and played and created for 1/2 hour.
Proud Mary crossing the tires!!
And Findlay flying across! Findlay is super shy but when she is comfortable, she is super! She loves to play and she tells the best, longest stories ever! She is a trooper, so much expression in everything she does!
Self
We have been learning about self and who we are and who we are!
Their Self's turned out great!
findlay was so proud of herself
Avery, Findlay, Vada and Tyson
Outside Play
Everyone's favorite pace to be is outside.
No matter what is happening, outside is a happy place.
Always creating with perfect squats!
Walks are a huge hit, lots of times we are in the wagon and sometimes they want to walk, they are growing so fast.
Tyson stopping to smell the flowers
Avery feeling how soft and being very gentle
Growing up!
What a perfect dolly!
Royal Alberta Museum
We headed to the Royal Alberta Museum for a day of exploring!
First stop was an amazing butterfly and moth exsibit
The kids loved the colors and after great conversation they agreed that it was not birds we were looking at but moffs and B-fys
Discovering inside the Wolf to Dog Display
How the color of eyes affect sight in animals
Here Tyson is touching an animal hoof
Before Vada touched, she read first
Skulls
Lots of wild animals
Horns
Calling into the horn because he heard his voice when he was trying to say horn
Vada's turn
Tyson reading about different beaks
Comparing and learning
Learning and comparing
Tyson figuring out what this means
The kids wanted to go in and have a pow wow with the natives and Anthony Henday
They all said Sure
So much to see
Both Tyson and Vada were completely inlove with dinosaurs, it must be an innate childhood thing
It was an incredible day, the kids loved looking at everything and I know their little minds were working overtime. They were sharing all kinds of great stories and at times they were simply just looking and making their own ideas about what they were seeing.
Can't wait to go again!
